Default Need advice from anybody that has been to Wynn

I am going to Vegas in 2 weeks (and i will be there for 3 weeks). I went last summer and I played the 15/30 at Bellagio, the 10/20 at Mirage, a NL at Mandalay (yuck), and many sessions of $500nl at Palms. (in addition to a few other smaller casinos that arent worth mentioning, such as Horseshoe)

I wanted to know from those of you who frequent Vegas and are serious players, how is the action at Wynn? I havent been to Vegas since they opened. Would you recommend Wynn now for the fishy games? Or are Bellagio and Mirage still the way to go?

Also, any other insight for a poker player would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Just because I've won a couple times at the Bellagio, I've noticed one thing: the games are anything but fishy. IMO, its very tough now to find more than 1 fish in any of these big games. I took $600 for 1 $15/$30 session at the Wynn just for the hell of it... Those players were tough! Had $770 after 1 hour after losing a $750 or so in a 3 way pot with an underset vs overset vs top 2 pair, all on a board that didn't yield a straight or flush possibility. These people knew how to play, and I felt like the fish. Took my $270 profit and left... $6-12 at Mirage seems to be the last of the fishy games I can ever find that are at a reasonable limit. Obviously, I'm not including some of the 3-6, 4-8, 1-2nl games I've sat in elsewhere... Bottom line: places like Wynn and Bellagio are filled with anything but fish.

I tend to disagree, its just a differet level. Granted I just started playing 15 30 last month. I moved straight from 4 8, and I already really comfortable in the game and feel like I am one of the more solid players at the table usually. Obviously there is not as many stupid bonehead plays but the difference in stakes makes up for it for me anyways. Im not expecting to come out a grand ahead every other time I play.
The last 3 times Ive played at the wynn and the games seem to be a little less crazy than the Bellagio. The times ive played at the Bellagio their seemed to be more people playing the flop and cold calling raises. So if my small sample size is consistant of the normal games I would say the Bellagio is the better game but the variance is going to be higher.
But for some reason I keep going back to the Wynn. Its either the lower variance b/c Im new to the stakes or b/c the coctil waitresses are better looking. Probably the latter.

It's just not reasonable to think that the middle limit games at Wynn are going to be any easier or tougher than the games at Bellagio. The casinos are less than a mile apart.

Mason planned on going back to Wynn.

I was there myself - lots of tourists - it's the new hot spot and everyone's checking it out

and if they use self parking, first thing the see when they walk in is the poker room -

it's fishy enough for you.
