[ QUOTE ]
If have a steaming, aggressive player behind me, a solid, thinking, aggressive player behind him, an underpair to all three flop cards, the worst position, and two more dangerous cards to my underpair still to come, for any given action, my equal and opposite reaction would be to fold.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree. Either I don't play high enough or often enough, or probably both, to see it if it's right. But I can never understand how it is +EV to play a hand like that against a good player who has raised you and has position on you in a spot like that.

Fold pre flop.

Check and fold unless your heads up with LAP when it comes back.

Check call LAP down if he auto fires with over cards otherwise check raise and lead.

Well beings that you made a fishy PF call, check raise this relatively safe flop. If called, fire on any non A, K, or Q turn card.

I know it's been said: I check-fold on the flop. If you get a free look at the turn, even better. I'd still check fold on the turn though, someone pairs a hole card, you're pretty much screwed.

I think the best line is folding pre-flop.

Why are you in the hand? 44 won't win it's fair share when two players who are very suspicious of each other build a big pot PF.

i'm assuming this is some type of insult suggesting that this preflop call with 44 is too loose and because i make loose calls like this i'm losing a lot of money, yada yada yada.

i would like to comment that i'm not the bb in this hand, but thanks for assuming so anyways even though nowhere in my post did i mention i was even involved in the hand. i just thought that the bb had an interesting flop decision.

Sorry if it went down as an insult. My intention was other.

I've seen several (too many?) of your posts, and I wanted to suggest you to stop and take a look at your game. I didn't notice that it wasn't your hand.

But maybe I'm wrong and it's me that is the 'live one'. I will know in about 100K more hands at these middle limits.

In the meantime, I'm sorry if I offended you, and carry on.
