This is a spot where I'd often check-behind on the turn...

I like a raise and fold to a three bet. If the villian has you reverse dominated I think you would have heard from him by the river. A call on the river is by no means atrocious though.

"What do you think about checking the turn behind mike?"

that's close. i lean towards betting, but since he's okay player if he had something he really liked (rather than something you had dominated) he wouldve been more active preflop or on the flop. so that means bet it like it's the winner and punish him for getting this far into the hand.

Folding TPGK on the river sucks and if the player feels uncomfortable folding to a three bet then by all means call. Calling the river may not be optimal. But atrocious.? I doubt it. I would hate to raise this river and then be unable to fold my hand to a three bet, which is something I know I have done before. BTW, it seems to me like we're discussing scemantics and not poker.

I think you're line is just fine.

I'm betting that turn almost every time, too. Players might take one off with something like QJ or A9 or something.

I actually think calling on the river is the best play. What hands are you putting a decent #'s SB on? Most decent players don't cold call with much there...but maybe AJ or perhaps another AQ...or maybe 66...but could be a much biger hand. I just don't see much value in a raise, because he's going to fold a lot of the time when beat and usually 3 bet when he has you beat and you're in a really ugly spot and probably have to fold, which sucks [censored].

I like it, thruth. I don't know why mike l thniks it's so attrocious. If the hand was versus a crappy player, then sure, raise...great. I like a raise vs a mediocre type, but vs this type it wont do enough good to warrent it.
