Re: Looking for a mid range video card
Guess I should have mentioned in the orginial post that I need AGP, and not PCI...my bad....
Does E-Bay have numerous used cards? I've seen new cards for around the same price... Im again not looking for anything high end, just some suggestions for a card to play poker with and be able to use dual monitors. But I do appreciate the responses so far. Anyone else care to offer some advice? Thanks |

Re: Looking for a mid range video card
Okay, step down 3 on the $50-$100 list to the AGP version.

Re: Looking for a mid range video card
I also looking for a video card, but one that can hookup 3 monitors. 100% for poker use only and not games.

Re: Looking for a mid range video card
Grimel,
Now that looks like what Im after...and I have plenty of CompUSA's in my area. Thanks Now all I need is another monitor...think I have one picked out, even though its a CRT...Anyone had any experience with Famous Brand monitors? I found one that's only $79 (even though I dont know about shipping costs yet)w/1600x1200 resolution... Again, I appreciate all responses...Gonna call CompUSA right now... |

When looking at video card specs, what lets you know that there it is able to support 2 monitors?

Re: Related Question
Along the same lines, how does one tell if the card can support a widescreen like the 2005FPW? Is it as simple as making sure the max resolution on the card is > 1600 x 1050 (or whatever it is), or is there more to it?

I also looking for a video card, but one that can hookup 3 monitors. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not an expert on video cards, but I think that for 3 monitors you might just be best off getting two video cards. |
