I think you have to make this decision before you bet the turn (which I'm sure you did). If he is so aggressive that getting checkraised will make you very unsure what to do, then instead check behind him and a usually call a river bet.

What line would you guys take with K9 in hero's spot?

Probably call the turn and any nondiamond/nonace river, but I can't say I'm a winning player in these situations

Another question I'd be curious about is what to do as a villain with 9x (x nonpair higher than 9) or two diamonds with a 7 or 9 on this board and hero's actions (hero obviously couldn't have 7d in the Xd7d case)

Id probably call with K9 but not k7. I wouldnt like it much though.
