Default Do I give UTG plays too much credit ?

The 88 in BB vs UTG min raise has me thinking.

When I am faced with a borderline or dificult decision I often take into account the position of the bettor. Late position.... add a few hands to the range I put them on, add the potential of a total bluff.

I have a special consideration for UTG moves. I treat UTG min raises with respect while I laugh at most min raises. I even suspect that an UTG limp is perhaps setting a trap for a all-in raise.

Am I giving them too much credit ? I know if I get AA UTG that I tend to limp and I pray for a raise. I suspect they play similarly but.... I am probably wrong.

Do you guys give UTG plays more respect or am I crazy ?

Before you flame me I know this is not rocket science I just feel like I might over-react a bit to UTG.

There are precious few hands I play from UTG and I think that my mistake is assuming that the other players are similar.
