When i joined i was a .02/.04 playing with $20 bankroll, Which dropped to $4.

I came here and learnt more about the game, specially after purchasing SSH.

Now i have about 800 - $900 BR and play 1/2. As this is my 1K post i want to say thanks to everyone whose replied, Sweated me, Analysed my stats/Hands, Replied to the one or two "I Cant beat these fishy game" posts.

Currently on the end of a $120 loss at 1/2 and re-reading SSH. Been here a while, and started playing in decemeber. Took alot of months off.

Anyhow looking forward to many more posts and moving up from 1/2 to 2/4 3/6 etc.

Cya around guys,
Thanks.

Well I certainly hope I follow the same path. Though I've played home games with family since about 10yo and playing on the net for years, its only been recently I've decided to really study the game seriously. I pretty much bread even/marginal winner at the microlimits and make consistent money in the PS $1 SNG's, but reading Sklansky and finding 2+2 has really helped and piqued my interest. I love the analysis and am more than willing to take the criticism when I post an amatuer hand. Congrats on 1k posts - and here's to my long journey lol!

Now that you have 1000 posts your title should be changed from "confused newbie" to "confused veteran".

On a more serious note, why not bonus whore a little to build that bankroll?

Good luck.

Congratz on 1000 posts. Only 998 to go for me.

Quick question.. I just started playing poker online but my bankroll has to start at $0.00. What comapnies have the best freeroll tournaments. I am using Absolute, JetSet, Full Tilt, and Poker Stars at the moment.

I would browse the classifieds for one of those instant bankroll schemes. Waiting to win a freeroll tournament is tough. It's crazy going through a field of several thousand and scoring fourth place, only to get nothing.

Are you sure you can't spare like $25-50? That is doable for building a roll. The problem with instand BR schemes is they can limit yr future options at some of the best sites. (Sorry I can't be more specific, but you vets know what I'm talking about.)

Hi mate,
I have bonus whored a bit but now i'll get into Casino whoring also. About $300 - $400 has complimented my bankroll from bonuses.

lol @ the title, I had it changed as i feel no one should judge someones hand analysis based on their post count. It does not reflect knowledge.
