Another Xbox 360 thread: It\'s nearly that time!
Release Date: November 22, 2005.
I'm thinking of getting one. Can anyone suggest reasons for doing so, or not doing so? Anything I should be aware of before committing to this moderately-sized purchase? Also, anyone know if the 360 will play the original Xbox games?? Adam

I really doubt there will be a shortage. There wasn't with the Xbox.

They have time to release them slowly this time though. When XB came out, it had to catch up quick to PS2 so they rammed production lines. Now they have a year head start so they can hype it up, mark it up, and release it slowly over time.

The bad news is that not all games will be reverse compatible, the good news is that those that are, will look noticeably better on the 360 than they did on the Xbox because of the extra anti-aliasing power. the list of games which will run on the xbox 360 is quite long, google should pull it up for you in a couple of secs (I know that all the Grand Theft Auto and Halo games are on the list).

if you don't, you wait until some compelling games come out
