Default hand 5 - \"How good is your Limit Holdem?\"

In hand 5 in his book "How good is your Limit Holdem?" Jacobs asks this question:

If u are first in on the button, which hand do u prefer:

1) A8o
2) QJo

This was easy for me, but when I looked at the answer he totally disagreed. I was just about to mail him telling him he did a serious misstake but before that I looked in Pokertracker at my last 170K hands to see just how big misstake it was. To my surprise he was right.

Which hand do you prefer?

Doesn't QJ play better post flop?

QJ, if you flop a Q or J you've got the best kicker if you aren't reraised almost all the time. A8 might be behind easily on an 8 high flop

With QJ, you win usually if an ace flops anyways.

LOLOLOLOL. Yes, those blinds wake up with monsters all the time. It's better to just limp and see if you flop a straight or full house.

You don't have a large enough sample size to say anything significant about this situation.
