Do u normally call this turn headsup?
You raise preflop with an ok hand, say AJo and one of the blinds call u (or 2 calls and 1 fold on flop, really doesnt matter). Flop doesnt hit u, but gives u 2 overcards. U bet and get checkraised and call. Turn is an A. He bets. You?
I often call here and they normally checkcall river with whatever they hit on flop, hoping I bluffbet river. Otherwise I raise river and they call. I would say I get at least 2BB out of them, probably a bit more (they sometimes fold river and sometimes bet) If I raise turn I have a feeling they fold to often, not giving me 3BB often enough to make up for the folds on turn and river. If it was my J who hit turn I would almost always raise, because its harder to put me on J and they will often have overcard to J and call turn. By the way, if flop is drawish I raise turn hoping they are on a draw, this is really only when board isnt that drawish. |

I think you are exactly correct in your analysis here.

I raise on the river because they might not 3bet with two pair but they would on the turn
