Agree, JTo UTG 5handed is tricky, but CO its an easy raise.

would you still raise JTo in CO if button was pretty loose (VPIP 40+)?

does he call raises?
does he 3 bet he if comes into a pot?
Whats your table image?
etc etc

Just cause a player plays JT in CO doesnt always mean they always play it, even players that play it from UTG, most will fold it more than play it.

I guess I should make it clear that the drunken stats post I made further up this page (or the last) includes a lot of 3-handed, so when I tell you to loosen up it's not some huge joke . For 5-6 handed I'm 30/21.

But yeah, JTo in the CO is truly not close. JTo I openraise in the HJ unless theres a decent-playing floater lurking CO/Button.

PS lol at the carrying topic

Really loose players normally lose a lot postflop and calls with so strange hands that JTo isnt a dog anyway so I dont mind a loose guy calling me on button every time I raise JTo in CO.

Never stealing blinds is made up by them calling down with a lot of strange hands those time I hit.

Its worse if button and blinds like to come in for a raise and frequently 3bet me.

Tricky hands in CO for me is J9o and Q8o, Qxs, those I can more easily fold if conditions aint right. My VPIP is 25%.

Just looked in Pokertracker. K7s, Q9s is often raised. Worse now and then. Lately I think Q8s is raised pretty automatically. But Q5s and K4s still needs the right guys behind me to be raised.
