Default bonus clearing

Im a beginner player building my bankroll. Id like to know how, without PT (my bankroll is still small), i can keep track of the number of hands ive played at a given site so i can see when i can clear my bonus. also, will there be a notification for me when i clear the set amount of hands?

PokerStars, PartyPoker and the other big ones will give you a running tally on how your doing. I believe you can usually access this from the Cashier screen.

I'm less familar with the small sites.

If you play the Crypto-sites(Inter-poker, William Hill, Carribean Sun,Poker Plex and others) you can download a program called Crypto-Counter that will keep track of stats for you on the Crypto sites.

cryptos will tell you when the bonus is cleared, but the built-in software does not automatically show your progress while you're working it off.

check with support, use pokertracker, or cryptocounter if the bonus specifically requires raked hands. for dealt hand bonuses, you can use the built-in log viewer or hand history button. hourly bonuses, self explanatory.

don't forget that you generally have to leave at least one of the tables you're playing at in order to get the bonus credited.

Not sure what site you're playing, so I can't tell you how to track your bonus. At pokerroom you can access you My Account page to find out how much more you have to go and then it is automatically released into your account.

On a side note: I've found the easiest way to clear a bonus is playing the lower level Omaha8 games 1/2 .50/1 because the hands nearly always have the rake maxed and playing from the blinds should give you a point everytime, and if you play as a nut peddler with a low VPIP% you should be able to show a small profit while you clear your bonus. Has anyone found a game or a different limit that's easier to clear a bonus for?

I would consider signing up through an affiliate which offers a free copy of pocker tracker (that's what I did)when you get ready to whore your next bonus. It will significantly improve your game in a short time if you use it appropriately.
