I think you've got to push here because you don't want your monsters to look different than your standard steal pushes. Anything your opponents can use to differentiate QQ from, say, AQ could be exactly what makes the difference in them calling you down.

I think I would push here because it really sucks to raise 1/3 of your stack and have to play the hand out of position when an a or k flops

I don't think that there's enough information to answer the question. Depends on the table. If there has been a lot of re-raising or crazy play, I'd raise 3XBB and hope someone came over the top.

But my default play here would be to push.
