Re: Hows my line after flopping the stone cold nuts
[ QUOTE ]
"I've flopped the nuts in a small pot. [deleted] I've cheated and [/deleted] I know that one of my opponents has 3 outs to a better hand. So I go all in. How's my line? [/ QUOTE ] FYP. Tiny would be maybe 3 limpers. How does somebody exposing their cards compromise the OP's integrity? |

If you know exactly what he has why push him out of the pot bet enough to entice a call if he hits you know to get away from it.......

Re: Hows my line after flopping the stone cold nuts
Kind of amazing that a $125 rebuy tourney has 800 in starting chips; also amazing that you thought pushing here would be a good idea. If your opponent hits a 4, fold. You know his cards.
As far as "strategy" posts go, this is right up there in dumbest of all time. |

Limping 54s utg isn't that bad, and at the right table I might do it every time. [/ QUOTE ] starting with 800 chips, limping UTG with 45s is a waste of chips. too often it is going to be raised and since it's a rebuy tournament im actually shocked it wasnt... too often you are going to miss the flop and even if you hit you're in bad position. if you're going to play it, at least get some value out of it. this overbet is so unnecessary. |
