No Doubt, Easy fold. Save your chips, the tourney is still young and there's no need to make a move like this right now.

I much prefer to limp with JJ in Early Position, but thats besides the point. This depends mainly on his range of hands he could be doing this with.

However, since you have no reads, and this is a $5 tourney, I think this is a definite call. I think many of the people who are suggesting a fold are forgetting this point. I take it you called, he flipped over AA, and you lost?

Call me weak-tight or whatever, but I folded. I was thinking people often do this with QQ-AA, and even if he didn't two people behind me and I couldn't be too sure that they would fold too. I folded, they folded.

In a $5 tournament, that early, call. You'll get shown a worse hand a lot of the time. Why would anyone push like that, it's only gonna make you fold.

Has that really been your experience? Just curious. Hasn't been mine even at those limits.

I fold, but JJ has been my nemesis for ages. That may sound silly, but I'd bet many people have that feeling about a hand or two.

Of course, limping with KK and pushing on the flop has been rather successful at these limits and a move I use often, so maybe my superstition is getting the best of me.

It's a 5 dollar tournament, people who play these are often drunk, high, messing around, blowing off steam...or just really really really bad players. You'll get shown some middle pair a lot of the time, or just any two. People liek to gamble. It's a $5 tournament.

I fold everytime. Winning this pot won't help me nearly as much as busting will hurt me so I want a better read on the villain before I call here. If it had been limped all the way around I look at it differently, but I make the BB push with AA all the time now and get called almost every time.
