Default Is PLOH the fishiest game online?

Just wondering what everyone thinks....Rarely do I run into a solid PLOH player on Party Poker $100 or $200 Max or FTP $1/$2PL or $2/$4...makes me think it has to be the fishiest game on the net!

I think that 200$NLHE is harder than 2kPLO on Party.

Best wishes

It sounds to me like the OP has yet to experience the variance of this game.

NLO8 is the fishiest game on the net, Triple Draw is a close 2nd. PLO is probably behing Stud H/L also. H/L and strict low games bring out the worst in the bad players. At a high only game people are much better at recognizing the best hand, as opposed to in split games when you have to recognize what's the best and worst. In a PL or NL H/L game you have to figure out is it worth calling with the worst hand if you think you are getting quartered, and bad players don't think that about it that much, so they'll call with the nut low when somebody else clearly has the low and the high gets half the pot and the lows lose money.

I hate to dissent here but NLHE and LHE feature the worst players right now.

Yes, it has to be NLHE. Any game were a large subset of players routinely call of their stacks with less than a 10% chance of winning has to be the winner. Plus, everyone and their mom is playing into the NLHE craze.

I think all-in was added to the OED (Oxford English Dictionary) this year.

I have to aggree... while the overall avarage player quality in PLO may be pretty damn weak, I find that once one gets to about the $1/2 level, almost everyone at least has a clue... vs NLHE where there's some TOTAL DONKS at every level (that i've played: up to $2/4).

I have to agree as well. I think a lot of it has to do with the size of the player pool. NLHE seems to have an endless supply of horrible players at levels at least up to 2/4 that I have played and it seems from my browsing the mid-high forum there can be some pretty bad players at 5/10 too.

Also I think it is much easier to identify donk's quickly in NLHE as well. Hell I remember Dave D said something how he thought a few of the people in the big PLO games (darwinism, chufty) appeared very fishy at first but the ended up being really good tough players.

That said, some of the really small stakes PLO games can be really fishy. Especially when you get people that think TPTK is a good hand.
