I heartily reccommend the Poker Room .25/.50 tables - they're among the most loose-passive tables I've ever seen (45%-60% average players to the flop). I deposited 40 bucks there a week ago, and now have 220 banked there (two/three tabling .25/.50, some .50/1.00). The .50/1.00 tables seem to be a little better- there are usually at least a couple solid players at a table. But still, a very loose game.

I kind of like their software actually...

I like pokerstars, currently not playing the .25/.50 you want, but I did some play there.

Yeah, I also recommend Pokerstars considering your situation. You probably don't have the roll yet to do a lot of bonus whoring, so Stars is perfect because you won't miss out later (Stars doesn't have a signup bonus). There games at .25/.5 are about the same as Party .5/1, but anything lower is really easy. Plus I love the look and feel of their software.

Im curious about that instant bankroll at party...whats the deal with that? I read their site and still don't understand how that works. Also would that still allow me to make a deposit bonus later...

Is that better then signing up with your own money or and getting rakeback?

If I sign up to Party with that can I use an affiliate?

Also, if I sign up with that, can I still bonus whore on party?

Anyone else got any thoughts on Chaz's deal?

So that means it's very popular I guess.

I'm just wondering if it's a better deal than signing up with your own money and getting rakeback, and if this instant money deal prohibits the use of future bonuses.

Poker Tracker for Pacific is on the way. And since the game is so soft, I would recommend playing one Pacific window in with your multi-table rotation. Everyone complains about the crashes, but except at the start of a huge tournament, I've only had 2 crashes ever in about 9-10 months.

Until November or December, Pacific had .1/.2 tables too. Those were where I built a lot of my bankroll. I'm a little pissed that they are gone, but since I moved up, it doesn't matter too much.

BTW, someone mentioned Homer's bonus whore thread. It's linked to in the Micro FAQ.

I'm a Pacific free $10 graduate. I guess I have a couple of things to say:

a) you're going to be in for a bit of a shock when you leave Pacific for other sites. The play at Pacific really is that much worse.

b) for my money, there's no better way to build a bankroll than Pacific's sit&gos. If you're at all capable in tournament play, I'd suggest sticking around a little bit until you have enough money to move to Party, or feel comfortable playing off bonuses at $1/$2 on the cryptos.

c) someone mentioned Homer's building a bankroll for newbies thread, but I prefer Gonzo's bonus whoring guide at Bonus Whores, which is a detailed step-by-step guide: link
