Default badly played straight

I'm quite sure I played this very badly, I'm just not sure which mistakes are the worst, so would like feedback :-)

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $1.5.
UTG calls, 2 folds, MP1 calls, 1 fold, MP3 calls, CO (poster) checks, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, UTG folds, MP1 folds, MP3 calls, CO folds.

I didn't want to raise here because I wanted callers, since even if my straight is invalidated, I have redraws to a flush. I would have loved to c/r hoping someone to my left bets.

Is this a mistake? Do I want people to fold?

Turn: (4.75 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, MP3 folds.

Eh, dunno what I was thinking here. Brain fart.

River: (6.75 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Um, again.

Final Pot: 8.75 BB

Which mistake(s) were the worst?

Without question, the river is the worst. On the flop and the turn you had people behind you that you didn't want to scare away, on the river you're heads-up with a big hand and just call.

I would raise the flop and hope to get some people attached to the pot. Hopefully they show some more aggression when they make a 2nd best hand - that's probably your best chance at winning a big pot with your big hand.

Raise the flop, bet the turn, bet the river. And again...1/2 goes in micros

raise the flop. raise the turn. raise the river. 1/2 hands go in micro. Don't post hands without reads. sit up straight.

Ok, the non raise on the flop is questionable, BUT the Non raise on the turn AND river are equally bad,

the raise on the river is by far the worst mistake. You are most likely ahead. I could see that maybe you were hoping that on the turn, the MP3 would have called as well. This was played very passively. Summary

Flop: No mistake, I would have done the same. You don't want to eliminate ppl right away.

Turn: Marginal mistake

River: huge mistake (you missed a BB)

You flopped the nuts and you won such a tiny pot.

I hate the turn the most and the river second. Flop is fine.
