Default The flop decision

Dealt to ChazDazzle [Ah Ts] in BB
MP1: raises $2 to $4
ChazDazzle: calls $2
*** FLOP *** [Js Ac 2c]

What is the optimal line here. He raised from MP1 and he seems to be sort of a solid player nothing too laggy or fish like. Raising preflop doesn't necessarily say that he has a better ace (he could have any pp as well) but if he does we want to find out and if we can how? We could qualify this as no read. Is the best line to bet out and reraise him if he raises? Or to get maximum read on his hand might we want to powerplay checkraise and then if reraised check fold the turn? As i see it i want to get into a situation with strong but not amazing hands where i can easily figure out what my opponent holds. This way i'll be able to value bet when i'm ahead and fold when i am too far behind to get pot odds to draw. Is this something i should be worrying about or do i just have to pay off the higher ace in this case?
