win rate numbers... what do you think?
I have played around with many playing styles and what would be the best or win the most for the money put forth or invested, these are the numbers and the breakdowns @7500 hands
the games that have been played was in a range 5 to 100 sit in goes and 1-2 to 20-40 limit holdem some turneys most of them 10 to 25 dollar buy-ins' not to get off track but i have conducted 7 diffent trials and have came up w/ funny results most of the results have been the same all the EV have been the same with the bottom line about 100 or so differnce. here are the numbers you input would be helpful im sure and from the looks of some of the replys nothing short of good entertainment 7625 hands games won 19% showdowns won 57% flop seen 26% win % if the flop seen 41% Fold 50% Check 20% call 15% bet 4% Raise 8% Reraise 2% when i fold pre flop 66% flop 7% turn 2% river 1% nofold 24% total win 1207 total hours 151 win rate 7.99 hr Confidence 47.99% std Deviation 95.54 bankroll 600.00 never went broke I still find that weakness of players make it easy to win money I also find of all the stradgies I use most of them are winning and the most valuable thing that a player can use is to read the board and know the value of a hand. I think that tournaments hold the least value in the short term, its is hard to put a time frame on any long term value with the pay outs so flat seems to favor weaker players. thanks SA |

Re: win rate numbers... what do you think?
7500 hands is nothing. These stats are for $5-$100 SNG's and 1/2-20/40 limit? They're meaningless. Get pokertracker and play a game within your bankroll. If you have $600, play the 22s or 33s or stick to 1/2 limit for awhile.

Re: win rate numbers... what do you think?
I agree. Also what are we supposed to be able to tell you from looking at a mix of stats from different game types over different limits. You ran well over the course of this small sample. And you did it by reading the board? Get poker tracker, get small stakes hold'em, theory of poker,Supersystem, or Harrington. And I'd bump the idea of playing within your bankroll. Even if you played well, one downswing at 20-40 and your roll is gone.
