Default Nightmares?

So, everyone had nightmares when they were little kids, but does anyone still have them? My girlfriend doesnt like scarymovies because she says they give her nightmares (she is 21). Other than that little fact, she is completly normal, great looking, awesome body, no weird trauma in her life, so I dont see why she should be afraid of scary movies or still having nightmares.

Please dont just flame and say thats lame, i really wanna no if there is anything she can do to stop having them.

We've had the "I killed someone and am about to be found out" dream discussion recently, so if that counts as a nightmare then I'm in.

Not to hijack, but my dreams are usually unbelievably mundane. I dream about emptying the dishwasher, getting dressed, etc. It's only when I'm doing these things in real life that I realize I dreamt about them the night before. I wonder if that means I'm content, or if I'm going to go postal soon.

Precognitive dreams?

I've had the flat out boring ones, where I dream I'm folding some laundry or something, too. Usually I wake disbelieving I could dream about anything so stupid, and wind up laughing about it.

I have a friend, 19, girl who is the exact same. I have had some pretty cool dreams. Most often they involve some sort of intricate plot with various twists and turns. I can't think of any right now, but I am sure some could be great movies.

i actually had one last night, kinda weird, lots of people dying, woke up at a really strange point in it too. odd night overall.

generally no nightmares and just the usual plain dream, but every once in awhile i get a weird one.

unlike yours my girlfriend is not great looking and does not have an awesome body, and because of this i don't find it surprising at all that she has nightmares.

Does she wake up screaming?

I do that all the time.

Hell, sometimes I go to sleep screaming.

I have extremely vivid and life-like dreams just about every night.

This leads to ultra-vivid nightmares. The worst recently was my brother ended up sleeping with a girl he knows I have deep feelings for because they got drunk and just ended up going at it. I beat the crap out of him in the dream to the point where he was unconscious, and ended up throwing up in the dream because I was so upset.

I woke up in a cold sweat and couldn't fall back asleep the rest of the night. I rarely have nightmares, but when I do, they are so ugly and mentally destructive that I don't sleep the rest of the night.
