Default Reducing Eye Strain

OK, so i have a timer set up to chime every 20 minutes so that I can stop turning my eyeballs into gravy. Only problem is, what should I look at during my time off? An eye chart? A distant book? A poster? Nature?

What do you use?

Are there any eye exercises that are good for preventing eye strain and my impending close-sightedness?

Ya it's a good idea to look at objects far away, whether it's out the window or across the room.
