Dynasty, Poker Babe and Clarkmeister

A couple of my favorite posters have been missing lately.
I still see Clarkmeister giving top notch advise on a regular bases. Dynasty and Poker Babe were usually in there with him giving good arugments. Where have they gone?

The Babe has never been a prolific advice giver, though she still pops in from time to time. Dynasty can speak for himself, but I suspect he's a little burnt out on the whole forum thing.

This forum is worthless without the sage advise of people like you and Dynasty. Direct and to the point. Husker and MS Sunhine also fall into that catagory. I always liked PokerBabes wit, it seemed like her thoughts on a subject raised the level of discussion. Please pass along to Dynasty my appreciation for his hard work. (read between the lines....get back in here soon.)

The Red Sox loss in the ALCS seemed to drive me out of all my routines for a couple months. I didn't even play for three or four weeks.

Instead, I read all my Harry Potter books twice and about 10 other novels. I completely got away from poker for a while and didn't get back to my "full-time" schedule until the new year. Of course, my idea of a full-time schedule is a lot different than most others'.

I also got away from a heavy poker schedule in the winter of 2002-2003. It's helpful to prevent real burnout.

In the past month or so, I've posted a little more often. Eventually, I expect the mood will hit me and I'll be back up to speed.

Like Dynasty, the Babe was taking a hiatus from the grind of poker hands, poker talk, and poker in general. Of course, I never, ever, take a break fromt the "Poker Boys", aka/ "Babe's Best Boys". [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

It is nice to know that a few of you miss the Babe's wit and comments about poker, golf, boys, and of course, her undies. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
