Re: Announcement: MacPoker Pro 1.1
love the software. tried to register but it says 'server not available. try again later.', so i tried 6 or so hours later to no avail.
oh, and any plans on adding fancy charts and graphs, or the ability to filter by position other than just the blinds? |

Re: Announcement: MacPoker Pro 1.1
I've gotta say - nice job again. Although Bugsys is good, VPC is problematic and so pokerroom and their skins are one of the most viable options out there for us. In lieu of this, Mac Poker Pro earns an updated Prominent spot on www.poker-mac.com.

Re: Announcement: MacPoker Pro 1.1
About the skins. Are the hole cards supposed to be recorded? I tried MacPoker with betsson and it recorded every showdown game. But the program said "6 games A5o" when it really was only 1. Also the Net profit said -12.50 when it should be only -1.50. Somehow it also counted way to many hands, like 200 hands after 7mins playing.

Re: Announcement: MacPoker Pro 1.1
That's bizarre.. just tested (again) at PowerPlayer.com and didn't see this problem.. wondering if it's just a betsson problem (I can test that site again later)? Anyone else have any success/failure with the skin sites?
Regarding hole cards on the skin sites only the cards that are shown at showdown are recorded for all players, including yourself. |

Re: Announcement: MacPoker Pro 1.1
Can you combine statistics under different names at different sites, ie. aliases? Also, I don't know what the PFR # on the table screen refers to.

Re: Announcement: MacPoker Pro 1.1
Good questions.. currently the statistics of your opponents are combined regardless of the skin that you are playing. If you are using multiple Nicknames at one or more sites, each nickname will have it's own statistics (and require it's own Serial Number).
I am considering relaxing the Registration to allow users to play at multiple skin sites using the same Serial Number, but if I do that then I will end up having to *always* combine the statistics for those Nicknames - that's just a limitation of the current Serial Number/Registration system I am using. The statistics listed across the top of the Session/Table window indicates the averages for the table as a whole since the Session started. This can help you determine how loose/tight a particular table is. |

Paid my registration.
Do we get any additional functionality after registering? |

Re: Announcement: MacPoker Pro 1.1
A couple more questions:
1. What is the purpose of recalculating? Does it need to be done? Why would it need to be done? 2. When I start a new session, sometimes I play a hand or two (this time because is recalculating) before I enter a hand number. Does MPP go back and add the first couple of hands? thanks |

Re: Announcement: MacPoker Pro 1.1
More questions:
3. I notice that hands are downloaded to the session and session stats are updated in the small session window. When do these flip over to the Main database? I was trying to find out the BB/hour BB/hand on my current session and couldn't find it in the small window. However, when you click on a particular hand in the small session window, it WILL open the game detail in the big "database" window. But when you look under session stats --- oh my god never mind I just found it. note: 1. If you are looking for your stats in the main database, make sure you have the "Total" row under "Game Levels" selected before you switch to "Sessions". If you don't you will only find those sessions which pertain to that game level. This could induce you to write a lengthy post that you really should delete but decide to save in case someone is about to do the same thing and maybe so the author will add a warning/clarification to the documentation. heh |
