Re: $55 - 88 on the bubble with 4x BB, call a button push?
From a theoretical standpoint this is a clear call. First off the button should push with a very wide range here, and probably close to any 2 cards. That leaves a call with 88 as huge +EV. Anyway I would call, if my opponent is much tighter than they should be God bless them, I will make tons of money in the future as they constantly fold to my blind and pass up clear +ev pushes. |

[ QUOTE ]
His range: 22+,A2s+,A3o+,KTs+,KJo+,QJs = (+1.2%) 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+ = (-1.3%) (I think his range was probably somewhere between these two.) [/ QUOTE ] If his range is somewhere between these two he is much too tight and horrible. Call. |

I'd call with 66 and probably also with 55.

Re: $55 - 88 on the bubble with 4x BB, call a button push?
Blinds are so big that if he folds the next two hands after this he is going to be at about 3.5 bbs. I say that makes his range REAL REAL big. He has to or he's gonna be in trouble. If he was in later position he could probably wait for u two to get hit by the bb and possibly bust but at this point he's gotta be pushing. Maybe not any two, but pretty close.
I hate calling though, just because I hate calling in general but here u got to. |
