This situation is interesting to me.

Considering this hand in isolation, I don't know that the cap is +EV given that he will rarely fold hands we want to fold postflop (AJ+, pairs that have us dominated), and we can achieve a similar / better result by putting a raise in on the flop.

If his hand range is wide enough that we expect to be ahead there are merits to calling and playing your hand accordingly.
