Re: For the few fly guys
trout fishing in North Carolina is poor as usual. bass fishing is picking up. false albies are doing their minor run but haven't had a chance to try my luck.

Re: For the few fly guys
where you been lately i thought we lost you.
rivers up here are high. small lakes are doing well for trout, and the sloughs are producing big pike. i might get to missoula soon but sounds like i wont fish there. lake kookanusa is turning into a world class fishery for big kamloops trout. |

Re: For the few fly guys
Haven't been out yet to fish but I did check out the small local stream (hiked last Sunday) I like and the runoff is still fairly high. Highest I have seen it in years. Still some snow in shady places. We had a good snowpack. But the bugs should start hatching soon and I hope to get out. I was pawing through my gear last weekend also. So I have the itch.
-Zeno PS Good to see you post. I'll yap about my first fishing trip of the year as soon as I make it out. |
