Hero is Button with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and $1150
BB is shoststacked with just over $90 bucks.
Main Villain is one off button with $4500 and tricky.

Hand goes like this.
Villain limps. Hero raises to $55. BB calls and Villain limp reraises to $125. Hero calls, BB calls all in.

Flop

BB is all in. Villain bets $220. I raise to $550. Villaijn pushes. Whats my move? Results to follow after a few responses.

Normally, a limp reraise indicates AA or KK...That being the case I would have probably folded preflop, considering I am most likely dominated at this point. I would much rather call with a smaller pocket pair or even suited connectors in hopes of cracking his overpair (much easier decision than the one you faced). That being said, you really can't ask for a better flop than you got, plus u have invested 2/3 of your stack...At this point I call, hoping he has A/K, but it looks like he has a set of Jacks here. Hope it worked out.

this hand is played incorrectly at every stage

fold preflop: AQo is trash in this situation

Flop raise is awkward: you pot commit yourself and the only hands moving in on you here have you slaughtered,

even AK is remarkably live for being reverse dominated, and thats a longshot holding for him to have with this action

I'm seeing a set of Jacks or Queens also. Hope it worked out for you.

When did AQ become trash in a six max game and its playing 3 handed? So what your saying is I should only be playing the likes of aces, kings and AK then?

Doesnt matter what I think hes limp reraising with. Has nothing to do with my defense of AQ being ok to raise with in a three handed game. I should have seen a red flag with the limp reraise, yes, but thats not what your last post was about.
