Anybody track the avg number of entrants?

Notice if it has gone up or down since the change?

I think it's gone up, though I don't have real stats to prove it.

Which means more money for Stars.

wow 20% is rediculous, I just figured since the average person in my rebuy rebought 5 times, they would pay 20% to give a few people some extra buy ins back.

Jeanie, I couldn't agree with you more.

Since the new structure began I am trying to keep clear of those tournies. TO many stallers eager to cash with such a high bubble puts me on serious tilt.

Is there any site that gives the player so many $1,2,3, and $5 tournies at nights like Stars but with a 10% payout. I don't think there is. I know Party doesn't. FulLTilt? Paradise?

Only final table is worth it and even then it's 5th place and up for goodish money.

hasn't that pretty much always been true for....well...any tournament?

i mean, i get what you're saying, but the real money has always been in the top 3.

Well the ninth place in a 3 dollar used to produce like 140 bucks I think. Now it's 19 bucks.

Yeah HUGE difference between 19 and 100 IMO. My bankroll is big enough to play much higher than I do but it'd be nice to add on to it. With the 20% I just don't see that happening.

Though you're right, no other site has the selection stars does. I love stars, I'll probably never leave.

9th with 1500 entrants is 1.31% or $58.95

9th with 10% structure was 1.50% $67.5 for the same 1500 entrants. That's is far from a significant difference.

It really is only the top spots that are truely effected.

I think it comes down to what percentage of top 3 finishes you have vs how many times you "used" to finish just outside the money.

You are still getting close to the same money for the 10-18 finishes. For 1500 entrants its .78% vs .80%.

Is ALL your money from these tournies coming from top 3 finishes? How often do you finish in the top 3 when there are 1500 entrants? How often did you finish in 180+ before? How often do you finish in 180+ now?

I don't think it is as bad as everyone is making it out to be.
