Deserves consideration.

Yes. My favourite Beatles album, but as someone said earlier, it differs from what I think is the best.

Awesome, best album of recent times. Not best of all time though.

It has been confirmed though in scientific experiments that this is the correct answer:

With a question like this, you have to make the distinction that 'best' album is not the same as your 'favorite' album. Otherwise, you just get a list of 1000 right answers. Given this disclaimer, I wouldn't completely discount a few choices people might make, but the correct answer is clearly:

Dark Side of the Moon

I wasnt asking a question. I was telling everyone what the answer was. And to be quite honest, I think Pink floyd sucks in general. The Wall was alright I guess.

Funny that you think Pink Floyd sucks, yet believe AEnima is the best album ever. Ask the members of TOOL where they got a lot of their influence from and I'd be shocked if they didn't all include Pink Floyd in there. Their music, although different in genre, contains a lot of similarity to Pink Floyd. They both used bizarre time signatures, longer than average solos, as well as a clear influence from classical music.

With that having been said, AEnima is one of my favorite albums ever, clearly outranking Lateralus.

i was waiting for someone to post exactly this.

i love radiohead, and i love ok computer, but it's not groundbreaking. it's a pretty heavy lift of mid-period pink floyd.

as i saw someone say below, when it comes to radiohead, it's either Kid A or The Bends.

IM sure this is all very correct in regards to influence etc. But for some reason, I just cant really get into Pink Floyd. Listened to it enough in my rebellious youth but definitely was never a fave of mine. However I will take credit for creating a successful thread.
