Flopped trips...But what? Raise? Again?
1/2 Full Ring. One of the Pokerroom skins.
Villian is pretty new to the table. He is 18.6/8.5/6.17 118 hands Table has been LP so I limped. Hero is UTG+1 with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] PRE - 1 fold,Hero limps, 2 folds, MP calls, 2 folds, Villian raises, BB calls, Hero and MP call. FLOP (8SB) - 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villian bets, BB calls, Hero raises, MP Folds, Villian calls, BB calls TURN (7BB)- 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villian checks, BB checks, Hero bets, Villian CR's...! What? BB folds, Hero calls RIVER (11.5BB)- K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villian Bets and Hero Calls... Anyone do anything different? Does Villian play a high J this way? The Turn CR confused the hell out of me. The river is kinda spooky too. Should I have popped him back on the turn?

Villain is supermegaaggressive. I'm 3-betting this turn all day long. If he caps, i'll slow down. The only reasonable hand you're behind on the turn is JJ (3 combos). This is an overplayed AA/KK more often than a flopped boat.

Would villian raise pre flop w ATo? I don't know. Maybe ATs? After the turn ck raise I would slow down{Maybe incorrectly} ATs or slow played Pocket Jacks are in villians range. He might have waited for the turn to keep some callers in. I think I would have played it the same. I might be missing some value bets.

Even at only 118 hands, a 6.17 AF is huge - over 3/4 of his PFR - clearly someone who LAGs it up once he decides to play a hand.
I reraise. If he caps I slow down on the river. If not I bet there too.

AA/KK/QQ/AJ/KJ are more likely than JJ/AT/KT in my opinion.

Villan doesn't seem out of line with PFR, so maybe AT/AJ/TT? On the other hand he''s super agro. I would probably call down here just like you did.

With a crappy position preflop I fold 9-10 here usually everytime unless the table unless under certain table conditions. But since you saw the flop and you are up against a super-aggro he can have about anything. I call down the river. I like that you slowed down after the CR on turn.
