[/ QUOTE ] to me the illusion works - they look a lot more similar in color with the mask than without the mask. i'm not surprised by it though. but i can still see a slight difference too. it's kind of hard to say it's "the same" when it's not one solid color to begin with. there are many hues in there with varying density. (i masked it a little tighter since their mask still shows the edge of the surrounding yellow and purple) still, definitely looks different with mask than without. just saying :P  the first illusion is the best, but i've seen that before.

Yean, they look closer with the mask, but the one on the right still looks more yellow.
