I like the pot bet on flop. You charge draws and if someone has a set they should come over the top because you look like AK. You are getting it all-in on the river so push here so the flush draw makes a mistake. You are up against a flush draw or weaker ace most of the time.

With deeper stacks, I like to keep the pot manageable so half pot on the turn and 2/3 pot on a safe river would be my normal line against an unknown in calling station mode.

Bet 20 on the turn, to much stuff out there. If there werent any draws out there, i might check to induce a bet. Your ahead here more often than not

Don't you think hero is pot committed to call anything on the river witha $20 turn bet? He will have something like $18 to call in a pot of $80 (assuming he checks the river and villain pushes).

I think you either c/r all-in or push. If checked down, check/call a non-scary river. This might the optimal line the more I think about it.

check and call, realizing that even if he hit his flush he didn't have implied odds to make his line profitable.

Are you talking about, as played, checking the turn?? That's crazy.

My original post said to push, but once you decide you are all-in here, a c/r would work if you are fairly sure villain will bet. It also gives you a shot to semi-bluff any flush draw because the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is on the board and you hold the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I still think that I push here because the small stack sizes are the overriding factor, but against a rock I wouldn't mind the c/r.

Is my alternate line FPS?
