Default 3-6 limit Holdem at Absolute is equivalent to what level at Party?

As far as skill level, playing styles, and level of aggression.

I'm wondering what level I could play at on Party if I switched over.

Thanks

I was never able to get the volume of hands at Absolute that I can at Party, I would say they are about the same, Party used to have a huge game selection for full ring games, but they have the 6 max games taking off most of the full ring players and the games are nothing like they were a year or two ago.

Right now, the rakeback and endless bonuses at Absolute give me an extra 1-1.5BB/100 on top of the 2-3BB/100 I make off the weak-tighties who predominate there. If I move up in levels, those bonuses will mean less and less.

I was thinking that it might be more profitable if I went to higher limits to move to a site with softer games and not worry so much about the bonii.

The only way to find out is to give it a try. Move up at absolute and then play the same limit at party and see which one you like better.

I have played plenty of 3-6 at Party and Absolute, but no higher. The aggression and skill levels are much higher on Absolute. You could probably do at least 5-10 at party.

Id say 5/10 at party. The party 3/6 is very soft

I normally play party, but right now im clearing an abs redeposit bonus. Before switching to party I played abs, and nowadays its pretty much the same.

Sometimes you find some good players at abs. Their full ring games are full of tight players. However their shorthanded games are really bad. Frequently there are 60% of the people seeing the flop. The play is fairly terrible.

well in reality at all sites, at 5/10 and below its rare-ish that u come across a truly 'good' player. If they are not loose, most are either combination of 1. tight 2.weak, or 3. play basic ABC-ish poker...not taking advantage of situations, hence not putting much pressure on you preflop and postflop.

APs full games are generally tight. Id probably compare it to Pstars, but without the game selection.

But I dont play full, I play short exclusivly 2-6players at most, but prefer 2-4 player games. Id learn short games if I were u, almost everyone plays terrible shorthanded. Then it really doesnt matter what site u are at. As most short games are good games. Still since the game selection is not so hot, u will sometimes find that the four 6max games that are running are not so hot, so some days u play and some u'll play elsewhere.
