Borgata this weekend 1/14-1/16 thread

Making a seperate thread for those headed to the Borgata this weekend and not Harrahs for the tourney, or Trump for the Empire event then back to the Borgata, or none of the above, or all of the above. If you're interested in meeting up, post a general idea of what you look like, hat you'll be wearing, limits you'll be playing, etc. - it's always fun to bump into 2+2'ers at the tables [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

As for myself, I'm headed down around 1pm on Saturday and don't expect to be down there any later than midnight (have to wake up early to get to the bar early for the Eagles game) - I'm not hard to find, I'll be playing 6/12 all day, and am very bald with many tattoos on the arms and I wear glasses. As for what I'll be wearing, I assume I'll at least be wearing pants of some sort and an Eagles jersey, so look for that. I'll also be directly attached to a Heineken if you catch me after my first few orbits, and cursing any sons of bitches sitting next to me that auto-raise my blinds. If you see me, come over and say hello and introduce yourself!

And TT, I'll page you in the poker room when I get there.

As mentioned in TT's thread, I'll be at Borgata/Marina Saturday for the Empire thing. 2 or 3 other 2+2 lurkers will be joining me.

I too will be pounding the 6/12 (and probably the heineken) at Borgata before and after the Empire event at the Marina (unless my boys drag me into their 1/2 NL game).

Edit: I'm 6'2", I wear wire-rimmed glasses and I've got short brown hair (but will likely be wearing a Yankees or Notre Dame cap).

Got a room at the Marina, in theory, but not planning on using it much.

I'm staying at the Sheraton, but I'll be at the Borgata pretty much all day Saturday, probably at $2/4 or the lowest NL they have. I'll be at the Empire thing too.

Scrawny 5'10'' Irish guy in a Sam Adams hat, cup of coffee or Jack+Coke in front of me.

It varies from room to room. As it pertains to this thread, at the Borgata they are free. It's nice to tip your waitress a $1 or so for each one.

Nothing special, just watch a few tables a while before you sit down, and do what everyone else does.

Check out this article in the 2+2 Internet Magazine for a good set of tips.

Also, I just booked a room in absecon for fri-sun nights, so I should be at the Borgata in the 6/12 from Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon. I look just like my avatar, and will probably be wearing the same hat. It's a red/black Adidas hat with the logo of a German footbal(soccer) club on it.
