Default 77 from sb facing 1.5 bets. Call or fold?

I have just sat down in a nice 10-20 online. 160$ avg pot. with around 40% flops seen.

Ep Limps, MP limps, MP raise, Cutoff cold-call and I call from small blind with
7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Do you play this hand from this position?
If, would u cold-call with any pair?
If not, what are the worst pair you play in this spot?

I'd call, and I don't think it's very close.

This is an easy call, unless either of these limpers has shown a propensity for tricky limp-reraises. Assuming that both limpers call for one more bet, you are getting better than 6:1, even if the BB doesn't call.

In addition, I would call with any pair here, although I would also be prepared to release my hand to any action if the flop misses me.

obvious call...But when you flop a set what do you do? Say flop of j-7-2 rainbow....I think 90% of players make the mistake of checking the flop here...

It depends on the position of the PFR. If the PFR was UTG and you flopped a set in a multiway pot from the BB, the best play is usually to checkraise. In this hand, however, the better play would be to bet out b/c of your relative position.

I don't think its at all clear if you should bet out, check call or c/r.

I agree, due to the pre-flop raiser's position in the middle of the action. If the BB and all the limpers come along for one more bet apiece, you have more players between you and the raiser than are left after the raiser. That would seem to favor betting out if you hit your set.

By the way, I'd call pre-flop with any pair if there was no reason to fear a re-raise behind me.
