That is not the case here, Hero is going to be ahead a large majority of the time. AND b) you have no draws to beat the hand your opponent is representing. That isn't the case here either because you are likely ahead but if not have have redraws to beat many hands like sets, two pairs, and low flushes. Since you don't have position here you cant raise the turn. You are going to bet the turn regardless though so you might as well 3-bet the flop and push your edge. |

Normally I would 3bet this flop, but since the dude is very LAG I wont worry much about him taking a free card on the turn, so calling to see what comes seems like an ok option too.
When button folds the turn I like your call as you dont have to raise against this guy to make him put in 2 bets if he is on a draw, cuz he will most likely bluff the river anyway if he miss. |
