Call down or lay down?
Villan was 35/12/1.6 over about 40 hands . Seemed to be in a lot pots, but was doing ok chips wise.
Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 3 folds, SB completes, Hero raises, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, SB calls. Flop: (8 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, Hero bets, MP1 folds, MP2 raises, SB folds, Hero calls. Turn: (6 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) My initial instinct was check / fold the turn ... What's our plan for the turn and river? Please let me know why. Thx. |

Re: Call down or lay down?
I think this hand qualifies for WA/WB (check/call turn, bet/fold river). But I might be wrong.

Re: Call down or lay down?
i think bet/fold this turn is better actually. you don't give a free card to the flush draw, but i can't see him raising again without the Ace.

Re: Call down or lay down?
bet/fold the turn. villain plays a lot of starting hands, could easily be on a flush draw rather than a weak ace. many players raise the flop with a flush draw. you need to bet the turn to prevent a free card to the draw and if you are raised, then I would put him on the weak ace and fold
