Default UTG, minimum raising requirments.

Im playing 1-2 6max.

77
ATs
AJ
KJs
KQ

Any thing else i should add?

______________

AT A9s A8S KJ KTs KT JTS,
Unsure if these are profitable from this position.
Unsure if I could play them well enough from this position. Anyone raising these hands under the gun in a generally passive game?

Is limping ever an option UTG? (passive game)
If so, with what range of hands?

Baby pairs, i have a feeling that these could be raised UTG and show long term profit (by a far better post flop player than myself,) any thoughts?

Thankyou, SD.

Start adding hands you listed below,
AT: raise it once in a while see if you like it. AT is profitable.
A8s: same as above, also profitable.
KJ: Great for passive tables, raise it only if you play less than 3 tables, because you want some reads, and you don't have an autopilot routine for these raises.
(this applies to all the hands you specified, when you want to introduce them, drop down to 2 tables or less to estimate the effects better)
KTs: Add this after you are comfortable with KJ, it is still profitable.
JTs: Next level. This hand is a marginal raise UTG. Requires a lot of skill
KTo: This hand requires much more skill than what I currently possess.

Forget about open limping SH. Don't do this until you can profitably play KTo for a raise UTG (i.e. probably never)

Also, experiment with 55(66) and QJo.

This will give you a lot of hands to post on this forum. Do that whenever something interesing comes up. You will have a lot of interesting situations with these hands.

In passive 1/2 games, you can probably limp UTG with:

98s-JTs
J9s, QTs
K9s
Axs
PP < 77

hmm.. I just checked my 1/2 stats and QJs is an overall loser for me. My guess it's because you'll rarely buy the pot with a flop bet when an ace or king flops.
Should I drop it from the UTG autoraise list?
