Even with high ante game? I have been trying to adjust to a .25 ante in a 1/2 game by opening up a bit. Did I go overboard?

yes. Even if the ante is .50 i'd still say fold.

the title clearly says stud8 though, and the earlier version of the new converter doesn't differentiate between hi and split, so I think it's reasonable to presume its stud8.

Trust me this is Stud High. I made a change to the converter and didn’t tell anyone, sry.

7 Card Stud is just that in the converted hand. Stud/8 is now 7 Card Stud High-Low.

The “St8” in the title is in reference to his 3-card straight, I believe.

Assuming this is stud high, it looks pretty standard. If it's stud/8, we need to talk.

Sorry for the vague post. This is a STUD HI hand. I meant straight(Str8) and mistyped.
Andy- If I am playing this in a h/l game we don't need to talk, you need to find out where I am playing and follow me daily. lol

Actually, Todd Brunson says that 987 with a two-flush is sometimes worth a play, but I don't think he'd play it in this exact spot, however. I've never played it myself, so I don't know how to handle a hand like this. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
