Default Empire Royal Flush Club: Free $100/month, Does it Affect Rake?

So I've been feeling prety smug about my free $100 a month from Empire (ok, I had to deposit $1,000 to get it, but that took 3 clicks), but I just realized that it might not really be free. Are they taking that out of my rakeback? Don't they do that for deposit bonuses? I never do the deposit bonuses because I figure they don't really help me since I play at a minimum 10k+ hands a month.

Can anyone help me out on this?

Even if they affect RB, you should still do them, b/c there are no playing requirements.
Yyou should also be doing the monthly reloads -- even though they affect your rake, it's not a zero sum game: the deposit bonuses are still about twice as lucrative as getting rakeback on your play while you clear them.

I'm pretty sure the reload bonuses are only worth it if you dont have rakeback. For example:

Say I do a $100 reload bonus and collect it all after 700 hands (cant remember if this is the right number) and only pay $35 in rake. I net $65. However, in my rakeback for the month there will be a big fat -$100 on my check, so it is only worth it if I don't have rakeback.

Not this discussion again...

Bonuses are subtracted from your MGR. So the bonus acts as a temporary 100% rakeback. It's always better to do a bonus even if you have rakeback at that site.

$500 MGR with no bonus and 25% rakeback = $125
$500 MGR with $100 bonus and 25% rakeback = $200

Ok this makes sense. Thanks.

Any idea whether the RFC monthly bonus affects MGR?
