Default Poker.com

Has anyone heard of this site, and your feelings on it? (Good and the bad please)

When I first started playing online poker I played on a site called poker.com.

All of the sudden they disappeared and some other company had hijacked their website.

Luckily I only had $100 left in there that I lost, so it wasn't the end of the world, but I was pretty angry.

Let me see if I can find more info.

Of course in a picture like that, I end up noticing the cheap ass dice chips.

I am still trying to search for information. What I remember waking up and the software being down and then going to the website and their were new people with their content there. Everyone with money there lost it. If I find anymore, I will post it.

for interested parties, a snip from a recent P.R from pker.

With respect to the dispute involving the domain, www.poker.com,
the Company announces that a recent ruling by ICANN (The Internet
Corporation For Assigned Names And Numbers) dated February 13,
2002 refused to acknowledge that Communication Services Inc.,
(the current registrant of the domain), were using the URL
illegally and have suggested that action was more appropriate to
be commenced against ALA Corp (the previous registrant of the
domain). The Company is continuing to pursue all legal avenues
through which its rights to the use of www.poker.com may be
reclaimed.

As you may have wondered why is no one using the most obvious gold-mine choice "poker.com" to run a site.

Well I wonder if they think enough time has passed where no one will remember the past problems of that name?

They are offering a mess of freerolls. Some are open to all and some you need points. The software is fair but have no idea of their reliabilty but do not intend on depositing.

Default Re: instant payouts

One of the benefits of playing with poker.com is when you win you can have the cash in your hands in as long as it takes you to get to an ATM . Poker.com uses NETeller as its preferred payment method. Through NETeller you can deposit instantly into poker.com and when you win you can withdraw instantly into your NETeller account - We at poker.com are the only poker room which pays you instantly. If you have a NETeller ATM card ( which is free and available to all NETeller customers ) you can take the cash out at an ATM within 10 - 15 minutes of the funds hitting your NETeller account.

this is a feature i think all sites should have but lack of!

Reason I ask is I won $28 on the $200 freeroll and been playing. Wondering your folks feelings on the site if I should keep playing as I do value all of your opinions on a site.
