Is it over???
Do the Sox have too much karma for the Cards?
Is this the year to Sox break the curse? |

Re: Is it over???
Yes, when one team wins the first two games of a series, they don't lose.

Re: Is it over???
As a Cards fan, I'm hopeful, but I'd say it's over. It's just way too hard to beat a good team 4 out of 5 games.
The Sox are impressive. They just have so many good at bats. They put so much pressure on the other team's pitching staff. I've heard so much about how bad the Cardinals pitching is, but they were 2nd in the NL in pitching. They are not a bad staff. Missing Carpenter (their best starter) hurts, but the other guys have pitched good all year too. They don't have any power guys, but they have a lot of bend but don't break arms. The Sox just keep coming with good at bats and the pitch counts get higher and higher and then the Cards pithchers do break. |

Re: Is it over???
Up yours douche bag. Just because I'm realistic, you have no standing on which to question my loyalty to the Cardinals.
BTW, the Cards weren't anywhere near the playoffs in 1986, but I'm sure you knew that as a huge fan yourself. |

Whoops, meant to say Mets, but you knew that. Doesn't change the fact that you're a fairweather fan.

You are dim.
Being realistic does not equal being a fair weather fan. |
