Make it a promo at the tables. Everytime you get quads you get to name a table.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, they could have the promo from 5:30-6:00 one day.

it also generates much brand loyalty and a sense of community within Party - for little effort. IMO, this idea is absolutely brilliant!

YSSCKY.

What happens when someone suggests a dumb name? Do you tell them 'sorry, your name is dumb'? A rude name? What if a name has been suggested already? How long will it take to build the database this way? Do you send an email out to each player when they win quads? This will require work. If it's done in-client, reprogramming is required. As is a client download for another 1/2 million or so players.

Seems dumb to me.

On a side note, if there is anyone looking to work full time (in Gibraltar) and has a understanding of online poker, what players want and what is out there; email me.

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't I wish. Anyone got a link to Gibraltar immigration?

Anyway, I like the drawing idea. Have a couple hundred entrants submit 200 names each, the lucky winner (or split it 2-3 ways) gets the cash.

Here's an idea:

Let's get's the lobby issues worked out first before we start renaming tables. Namely:
- real time updates (mine updates every 30 seconds or so).
- Waiting list fix (has this ever worked correctly?)
- Avg. players/flop percentage

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, that's the idea and the reason I don't have time to come up with 10,000 names!

[/ QUOTE ]

Please do not put put % of players seeing the flop in the lobby. I can't see what benefit that has to the casual player.

It has no benefit to the casual player. It's the folks that know how to process the information (those that read 2+2 and study the game) that will benefit.

Exactly why it shouldn't be there.

Also, there are plenty of people who know that playing tight is correct, but don't play that way. Having the flop % just reminds them of the importance of playing tight.
