TT PFR on Button, played weak postflop?
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, CO calls. Flop: (8 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, BB checks, CO checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB folds, CO folds. Turn: (5 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets, Hero folds. Final Pot: 6 BB My play feels weak. The Turnbettor is somewhat agressive. If he had Q preflop I'd guess he bet or cr the flop. It seems that he picked up something. 1p 2p? Hard to know. It is common with pp underpair so I'd put it up for some discussion. What is your standard play in this situation? |

Agree with Nicky, unless he's tight he may be trying to steal putting you on AK, etc.

Re: TT PFR on Button, played weak postflop?
This fold is simply awful. It is 2-4 Party. You must ask yourself that if SB hit his two pair on the flop, why wouldn't he wait for the turn to check-raise? I mean, you have been aggressive the whole way, right?
With that being said, you are probably behind. Most likely, losing to something like Q7 suited. Enough doubt in my mind to call down, unless you hit your ten on the river. Depending on your read of the player, I have had some success in raising the turn here. At times, I can get a weak-tighty to fold (they think I have KK, AA), or get a free showdown on the river (costs me the same either way). If SB has a Queen, weak kicker, then he probably will not play back at you on the turn, and check the river. |
