Hi!
I've read SSHE Advanced Players Ciaffones Middle Limit Poker Theory I've searched for other good books but I cannot find any good candidates. I am a winning player at 2/4 and those levels and feel that I understand and use the SSHE ideas good. Is there any good book u guys can suggest I read? thx |

Re: Good Limit books to buy except the obvious ones
There's no need to read anything else. It is defintitely possible to read too many books and confuse yourself with too much advice. At this point you will learn a lot more by playing a lot and critically analyzing your own play in this forum.

Re: Good Limit books to buy except the obvious ones
You definately have the best 4 books for your level although MLH and HEPFAP are a bit advanced for $2/$4.
A couple more decent books are Improve your poker, The psychology of poker and Inside the poker mind. Reading too many books doesnt hurt thats for sure. |

Inside the Poker Mind is my vote. Great book.

Re: Good Limit books to buy except the obvious ones
I have all the books on your list. I also like Internet Texas Holdem by Matthew Hilger. The advice is also useful for b&m games. Clearly written, lots of "what would you do" hands, but most of all a very good starting hands guide.
And a very cool cover. |

Gary Carson's book is excellent in places. Roy Cook's "real poker II" is excellent start to finish. Mike Petriv's Holdem odds book is a good read as well.
