Are we talking REAL marshmallows or those dried up pieces of crap that come in hot chocolate mix?

I personally like to use Hershey's miniatures.

BTW, you are a n00b if you use water to make hot chocolate. Milk is the ONLY way to go.

whip it. marshmallows are too much a pain in the ass. they block the flow of hot deliciousness, forcing you to take them into your mouth perhaps earlier than desired. with whipped cream, I control the flow.

i think this is a very serious argument in favor of the whip cream. In addition, it should be said that if a man cant control his whip cream, what kind of man is he?

Marshmallows have some answers, but this is still very compelling.
