Default Re: What do you think of Eurobet?

I was replying to OP, so my comments are not really relevent to SH play. With such a high rake structure I would try and avoid the SH tables. The full tables are chock full of bad players. I was making no reference to short handed play so I'm at a loss as to how I am missing the point? The games and bonus for anybody playing 5/10 and 10/20 FULL are well worth the short amount of time required to clear this bonus.

If you can deposit, get the bonus, then withdrawl your original money, aren't you on a freeroll?

"most" poker bonuses do not work the same, as "most" casino bonuses.

In general, with a poker bonus, the bonus will convert to "playable" cash only after you have played.

correct...and a valid point.

you don't get the cash until AFTER you complete the bonus.

One would be wise to pretty much look at these bonuses as a nice reduction of the rake and not as 'free' money.

If you want to step up your play to the next highest limit because you are getting a bonus then go for it....but the bonus doesn't really provide you THAT much protection against the variance (however...you will also be able to clear the bonus faster...up to you).

I stated something wrong in my first post. I meant Pacific Poker. I have been told you are given the bonus up front, and then can withdrawl. Am I wrong about this? If I am not, then I don't see it as a rake reduction I see it as a chance to get hit by the deck playing higher then you usually do, and clear a bonus quick.

If I recall correctly, Pacific gives you the bonus up front...but you are technically not allowed to cash-out anything until you meet the play-through requirement.
Some people were able to cash-out early though.
Did I remember this correctly at Pacific??

Their bonuses take a bit longer than usual to clear as well...and you can only play 1 table there.
