Am I missing something?
So im looking at the futures for the rest of the tournament and we have MSU at 18-1, Kentucky 10-1, WVU 40-1, and Wis at 35-1. I decided to put 1 unit on each and then make a money line bet on their oppenents that would net 2 units or in Kent MSU case, do nothing and one will be in final four. In WVU situation, it ends up costing 10 units total, getting either a profit of 1 unit or them in the final four for 30-1. Wisc is 13 units for a profit of 1 unit or getting them in the final four for 22-1 and I will either have MSU at 18-1 or Kent at 10-1 in the final four.
I think worst case scenario would be all the underdogs winning, but I can compensate for that by not betting the UNC/Wis game if WV beats Lou. Any comments on this strategy would be welcome. |
