Hi!
What sort of fluctations would you expect at shorthanded Limit? Is 20 x BB normal or is it higher?

A lot higher.

Yesterday I was up 80BB in about 300 hands. Today I'm down about the same in 1300 hands.

perhaps it suffices to say that if you play this game and whine in this forum about losing less than 300BB's then i get to call you names - i'm thinking about calling you some names for suggesting that losing 20BB's is of interest

Some say u should have a 600BBB bankroll for your limit, that says it all.
Although game play style dependant, most tight players in this forum half that bankroll should be fine.

300BB's is not enough unless you move down when you have a fairly standard downswing. If you want to stay at a limit and maintain only a 300BB bankroll then you are guaranteed to go broke.

Maybe you play higher than 24 vpip, alot of players in this forum dont.

I personally go for the 600.

note that this rule doesn't hold for party 1/2 sh..it seems impossible there for any strong player to go on a -300 BB cold streak..100-200, on the other hand, is very doable
